Iida Driving School
Convenient access from all directions, about 4 hours by highway bus from Shinjuku, Tokyo, and about 4.5 hours from Umeda, Osaka! We have been nationally recognized as a driving school that excels in novice driver education! We value creating a good atmosphere so that you can improve your driving skills in a fun way.
・Spacious course
The two widest courses in the Iida-Shimoina area allow for smooth lessons. There is little congestion within the facility, allowing you to use your lesson time efficiently.
A wide variety of accommodations available!
After your lesson, you can relax in an open-air bath. There are four accommodations to choose from, including Hotel Yumin, which has a wide range of entertainment facilities such as karaoke, and Hotel Route Inn Iida, which has a large bath with activated stone artificial hot spring and is popular for its extensive buffet menu!
・Excellent environment!
The abundant nature makes it cool in the summer, making it a great place to escape the heat! You can also enjoy delicious Shinshu specialties such as Iida brand pork and beef. "Apple Road" lined with restaurants is located near the accommodation, making it very convenient!

The teachers are very kind and easy to understand. The driving school is located in a place surrounded by nature, making it a relaxing and stress-free environment. The local people were easy to talk to and the training camp went smoothly, but I felt a little sad to leave. If I were to get a license again, this would be the place to do it lol The food at the hotel was also very filling and delicious. It may be hit or miss depending on the hotel, I recommend this place! -

The other instructors were also polite and some with their own unique personalities, but their teaching methods were also kind and friendly. Thanks to this, I was able to successfully pass the Japanese driving license test. At Iida's Driving School we were able to see a roundabout, which is rare across the country, so it was a great experience.The school building was old but very clean and the scenery was beautiful, so it was a nice change of pace. I was just going home after the final exam so it was a shame I didn't get to say thank you to everyone, but it was a great Driving School so thank you!
