Nearby is Tomonoura, a scenic spot in the Seto Inland Sea that is said to have been the setting for the Ghibli movie "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea." The school's lobby and toilets have just been renovated, so they are very comfortable! The school's training course has a rare facility called a skid course, where students can experience driving on rainy and icy roads, so they can receive practical lessons.

The on-site Accommodation, "Academy House," just opened in 2016, and is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, DVD players, and more, as well as a bathroom and toilet! In the dining hall, a dedicated chef provides three meals a day, with a balanced menu supervised by a nutritionist. In addition, rental bicycles are available, so you can explore nearby Onomichi, also known as the "holy land of cycling"! The authentic Onomichi ramen is exquisite.

Other benefits for Driving Camp participants include the opportunity to participate in experiential tours not found in guidebooks, such as Onomichi walking tours and Shimanami Kaido cycling tours, guided by local insiders. The Shimanami Kaido is the first cycling road in Japan that crosses a strait, and it's exhilarating to experience the feeling of cycling on the sea!
