Travel Conditions Manual Article 4 Supplement to Admission Conditions
The following individuals may be denied enrollment.
However, this does not apply if approval is obtained from the Driver’s License Center or if the administrator of the driving school acknowledges it:- Those who do not meet the legal standards.
For example, those with unsuitable medical conditions (such as schizophrenia, epilepsy, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, recurring fainting spells, including individuals who have had these conditions in the past), vision impairment, or those not meeting age requirements. - Those who have been subject to administrative penalties, such as traffic violations. Please check with the Automobile Safety Driving Center in your prefecture to confirm the completion of your disqualification period before applying. If you are currently under administrative penalty, or may be subject to one in the future, and are unsure of your eligibility for training, please confirm with the police or the License Center beforehand. Please obtain a driving history certificate if needed. You will be required to bring these documents upon enrollment.
- Those whose registration process is hindered due to incomplete residence certificates or other necessary documents, or those who cannot read Japanese.
- Those with physical impairments or injuries (such as missing limbs or fingers) that may interfere with driving operations.
- Those deemed unsuitable for group training or communal living by the company or the driving school.
- Those applying for medium, large, or second-class licenses who have a discrepancy of more than 2 cm in the depth perception test.
- Those applying for a standard motorcycle license who fail the center stand test, the pulling test, or the test to ensure both feet can properly touch the ground. These individuals may be deemed unfit for enrollment by the driving school (in some cases, you may be downgraded to a 125cc license even after enrollment).
- Those who do not meet the legal standards.
If false declarations are made, or if any of the above apply, you will not be accepted for enrollment. Even after enrollment, you may be asked to leave.
Enrollment applications from individuals with tattoos will not be accepted upon the request of the partner driving schools.
Enrollment conditions may vary depending on the driving school.
Supplement to Article 6: Changes and Cancellations of the Contract After Starting the Group Training
Regarding infectious diseases (seasonal influenza, colds, COVID-19, etc.), it is essential for each person to observe cough etiquette, wear a non-woven fabric mask (cloth or polyurethane masks are not acceptable), and practice hand washing.
If you have continued symptoms of a cold or fever (including while taking medication), or if you experience fatigue or shortness of breath, please consult us beforehand.
If you are diagnosed with an infectious disease and instructed by a doctor or health authorities to avoid contact with others, you may be required to temporarily return home. Please note that any transportation costs incurred during this time will be at your own expense.
Enrollment conditions may vary depending on the driving school.Due to the circumstances of the driving school or changes in infection status, fees, plans, school rules, etc., may be subject to change.
Please follow the latest rules set by the driving school you enroll in.
If you are unable to comply, you may not be allowed to enroll, or you may be asked to leave even after enrollment.
