    AT Regular Car (March)
Thank you for your help with Driving Camp. In the end, I'm glad I enrolled in this driving school!

The reason I chose Matsuki Driving School Shirataka School was because there weren't many negative reviews, which are common in Reviews of other schools, and there weren't too many reviews that were overly praising.

Driving school reviews often contain excessive praise (which seem to be self-generated) from people who have just registered with Google and have only one other Review, or conversely, negative one-star reviews that identify instructors they dislike.

I made the decision without taking any of that into consideration.

I was nervous about enrolling at this school because I had read reviews of other schools saying things like "I was yelled at while driving" and "There were instructors who criticized people's character."
There were no such instructors at Shirataka school.

There were some instructors who would "laugh at small mistakes," but teachers are human too, so I told myself to just bear with it for two weeks and let it go.

(If you just can't get along with an instructor or if you're feeling down mentally, you can talk to the receptionist.
Apparently they'll remove me from their position.)

On the Matsuki Driving School's homepage, there is an explanation that says, "The first day of Driving Camp is orientation, and lessons start on the second day."
When I arrived, I was surprised to find that the schedule included getting to ride an actual vehicle from the first day Driving Camp.

For those who have never been interested in cars or who never had a car at home
Before joining Driving Camp, I learned all about the accelerator and brake positions, how to attach the turn signals and wipers, how to lower the chair, and the names of the gears and shift levers.
It's a good idea to practice using your family's or friends' cars beforehand.
I think you won't have to worry when you get on!

Problems in the written test for provisional licenses, trick questions on signs, etc.
It will be a little easier if you quickly review it on YouTube before attending Driving Camp.

On a night when I was tired from traveling to Yamagata and driving for the first time, I tried to learn the academic questions from scratch.
I think my head would explode...

After that, in your free time, you can take the "Effectiveness Test" (something like a mock test for a provisional license) [many times] on your own and memorize the questions you got wrong repeatedly.
I think I'll be able to pass the written test for a provisional license with ease.

Lessons for written test can make you sleepy, but it's better to drink coffee or a caffeinated drink to concentrate.
    It's for my future self.

Due to Driving Camp schedule, the items taught in the course may be out of order. (It does not necessarily start with ①, such as ⑩→②→⑦→①.)
When I got in the car, I couldn't turn the curves very well, and then a few days later I had to learn how to turn the curves in Lessons for written test.
Even though it is only a few hours after on-road training that we are still Lessons for written test we still find ourselves asking questions like, "What does a yellow traffic light mean?"

I guess I have to accept that it's because of Driving Camp.

I stayed at Accommodation called S Village, about a 3-minute walk from the Shirataka campus.

There are only a Family Mart, a drug store, and a ramen shop within walk distance.
I think this is a good environment for people who want to concentrate only on getting their license for two weeks.

(There was a poster in Accommodation encouraging people to shop at Benibirds, but 2 liters of water cost 270 yen, so I only went there once.)

The advantages of S Village are that you can sleep until the last minute before your lesson, you can go back to your room during your free time, and you can take a short nap after lunch.
Taking a walk in the morning or evening can help you get to know the roads a little better.
Administrator and cafeteria staff are kind and gentle.

The downside is that the walls are thin so the sound of the TV and music can be annoying.
It's hard to concentrate on my studies when the other students are making a lot of Driving Camp.
If Meals doesn't suit me, I have no choice but to buy it at Family Mart.

If you are sensitive or particular about Meals, we recommend choosing a self-catering Accommodation or hotel.

I've written a lot, but the two weeks were a very valuable experience. I plan to recommend Matsuki Shirataka School to my friends and acquaintances when they get their driver's licenses.
I'm grateful to the instructors, staff, and fellow Driving Camp.
    thank you very much.

It was so much fun! I was a little worried at first because I chose Self cook plan, but preparing Meals with my fellow Driving Camp friends became one of the things I enjoyed.
    The instructor was very kind.
I was a bit worried whether I would be able to drive properly with such gentle instruction, but as the lessons continued, I soon got used to driving.
    It was really good.
The overall Atmosphere of Driving School was good.
The staff were very welcoming from the very beginning, and I am very grateful that I was able to spend a very comfortable time here.
Originally, I just wanted to get my license, but it turned out to be a fun experience.

I never thought I would be able to take a bath in a hot spring during the camp! I was given a ticket to take a bath, so I could take a bath every day. Even though I was tired from the unfamiliar training, I felt refreshed and relieved after taking a bath in the hot spring. It may seem like a small thing, but this was a really nice service. The meals were self-catered. As I have many likes and dislikes, I appreciated the self-catering plan. I also enjoyed the lessons. I had heard rumors that many of the instructors were scary, but this was not the case at all. Rather, they were all kind and funny. The staff was also very kind to me, and I think I was very fortunate to be in such an environment.

Thank you for your help with my AT Driving Camp.
It wasn't cheap, costing 350,000 yen during the spring break, but in my case, I enrolled on February 22nd, passed the final exam on March 6th without any extension, and obtained my license on March 8th, so I think the quality of the lessons is high.
Some of the department's classes are being taken online, but if the class is interrupted due to connection issues or other problems, I have to start the class again from the beginning, which can be a bit inconvenient.

We used it for Driving Camp for large and Heavy Special Vehicle.
The instructors who taught me were all very kind.
I don't know if this is true for everyone, but when I asked other students, none of them had any bad instructors.
I also encountered an instructor who has been criticized by name in Reviews here, but he was a humorous guy and would talk to me outside of lessons, so we actually became good friends.

The people who have given their names must have a terrible driving sense and poor learning ability, which is why they have repeatedly engaged in dangerous behavior.
If you do something dangerous, they will get angry.
The women in the administrative staff aren't exactly unfriendly, but they do have dead eyes and a lifeless demeanor.
Well, they did explain it clearly so I don't really have any problems.
As for dormitories, I highly recommend Park Plaza Nagai.
The food here is delicious, there is Administrator on duty except at night, and there is Curfew and strict rules, so it is a quiet place.
In other places, even though there is Curfew, no one follows it, and it's like a zoo with people drinking and partying until late at night.
There are many young people taking Regular Car lessons at Driving School, but they are almost like chimpanzees and are very noisy.
People like that usually fail their departments.
If you want to concentrate, don't forget your earphones.

If you have Heavy Vehicle License, we recommend that you come by car or motorcycle (in summer).
It's not uncommon to have a three-hour gap between lessons, but the only thing nearby is a Family Mart.
Since I was riding a motorcycle, I was able to spend 10 very fulfilling days by going on tours on days when I only had a short lesson or when I had 3-4 hours free time.

If my license gets revoked and I need to get one again, I would like to come here again.

My impression is that the overall Atmosphere of Driving School is very good.
Although I came from quite a distance, they made me feel so welcome and made my time there almost stress-free from the start.
    The instructor was also kind.
It was a busy time with a lot of students, but Driving Camp allowed me to receive my lessons smoothly.
I thought it was a good thing that I had held Driving Camp after all.
Accommodation was clean and much more spacious and comfortable than I expected.
Meals was delicious and I never got bored; in fact, I actually looked forward to Meals.

I was afraid of the instructor's appearance, and at first I was very anxious, but people don't look like it. He taught me interestingly and kindly. Of course, it was my first time to drive, but thanks to that, I soon got used to it and enjoyed driving. It was difficult because it was an MT, but I'm glad I was able to learn how to drive. Also, it was good that the Accommodation was comfortable. Usually, I can't sleep much when the environment changes, but I was able to sleep very well here, and of course, it didn't interfere with my training.

The Accommodation was like an apartment, and I cooked my own Meals. For that reason, I had a lot of free time, and I had plenty of time to spend with friends I met at the Driving Camp. Although it is an important lesson, I enjoyed both practical skills and departments. Of course, it was difficult, but thanks to the solid guidance, I was able to graduate as planned. The staff were very welcoming from the beginning, and the Atmosphere was very nice. I'm really glad I chose this Driving School.

I was able to have a very fulfilling time through this training and Driving Camp.
Since it was summer vacation, it was quite crowded, but I was glad that I was able to take both the practical and academic exams as scheduled.
Accommodation was well equipped and the security was perfect, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind.
Another thing that surprised me was how flexible the schedule was.
I had a lot more free time than I expected, and even had days off.
I was surprised because I thought I would be immersed in lessons every day since I could graduate in such a short period of time.
So I was able to get through each day with a lot of mental space to myself.
Another plus point was that Meals was delicious.

The Atmosphere was very good. The staff were very welcoming from the beginning, so I'm glad I got used to it in no time. Partly because I participated alone, this Atmosphere was very nice. Perhaps because of this Atmosphere, I soon made friends. I had a lot of time to spare, so I was able to deepen the friendship with the friends I made here. The Accommodation was large enough and comfortable. It was midsummer, but the air conditioner was working well, so it was easy to spend. I think it is a Driving School where you can spend your time comfortably regardless of the season.

It was a homely Driving Camp with a very nice Atmosphere. The instructor felt a little scared at first, but as he got used to the lesson, he became more and more friends with the instructor. The Accommodation was also a comfortable place and it was quite easy to spend. There were many people and there were days when it was crowded, but it is a privilege unique to a Driving Camp that I was able to receive proper training. Thanks to that, I was able to graduate immediately and get a driver's license, so I'm really glad I made it to the Driving Camp. From now on, I would like to keep what I learned at this driving Driving School and enjoy driving safely.

I thought that if I had a Driving Camp, I would have to take lessons at Sparta because I could get a license in a short period of time. Sure, the schedule was pretty tight, but it wasn't completely free, and there were holidays. Thanks to that, I didn't feel any pain during the Driving Camp. The Accommodation was a relaxing space and I was very satisfied with the Meals. The instructor was a little scared, but maybe he was able to take a solid lesson. At first it didn't work at all, but by the time I graduated, I was able to drive with almost no stress.

I was helped by your help with my automatic vehicle Driving Camp.
All the instructors at the school are kind, some of them don't like to talk much, while others enjoy small talk.
I stayed at S Village, and all the ladies were very kind and the food was delicious!
There are only a convenience store and a pharmacy nearby, but I think this is a good place to study.
The nearby shrine is also beautiful.

I went there for a training Driving Camp to get Heavy Vehicle License All the instructors were kind and friendly, and Accommodation was within a 2-minute walk. The other Accommodation are far away, but there is Shuttle bus and Accommodation provides three Meals Accommodation. There are bicycle rentals, but they are not available in winter because it is dangerous due to the snow. There are no convenience stores nearby, so if you are coming to get Heavy Vehicle License, it may be better to come by car. The dormitory is completely separated for men and women, so women can stay there with peace of mind. There is Laundry laundry in Accommodation, and Detergent and Drying machine are free of charge for laundry.

The Atmosphere was not good. It may be a homely Atmosphere, but it was a little uncomfortable for me, who just wanted to concentrate on taking lessons. It may not be a bad thing for the instructor to be close or friendly, but there were a lot of extra conversations and it didn't suit me who didn't like talking to people very much. I'm glad that I was able to secure my own space in the Accommodation. I am satisfied because the Meals was much better than I expected. Overall, I think it's not that bad, but Driving School it didn't suit me a bit.

It feels like an ordinary Driving School.
The school building and Accommodation were just as I had imagined, and perhaps because I was of a certain age, the teachers were very kind to me.
That being said, this is as you would expect.
Meals was aimed at young people and although it wasn't bad, it was quite filling and a little on the strong side, so I sometimes found myself overwhelmed.
However, I was able to graduate exactly as planned, so I have no complaints.
If I had been younger, my impression might have been different.
