Mandatory Additional Payments	The provisional license fee of 2,900 yen (provisional license test fee: 1,800 yen / issuance fee: 1,100 yen) must be paid on site. If you fail Learner’s Permit Written Test, you will be charged 1,800 yen each time you retake the test. *If you fail the third time, you will be asked to Temporary return home and take Learner’s Permit Written Test at your local license testing center. If you pass, you will be able to re-enroll.
